TTAK: a rhythm game with millisecond timing on real instruments

Updated October 2026 · Nabee Studio

TTAK is a rhythm game Nabee Studio designed, scored, engineered, and shipped in-house: tap on the beat, stack the block, and get millisecond timing feedback across 60+ songs played on real instruments. It's our proof of capability for audio, timing, and interaction work.

The problem

Rhythm games live or die on timing. If the audio and the visuals drift even slightly, players feel it before they can explain it.

TTAK was a way to push that problem as far as we could: tight audio sync, instant feedback, and songs played on real instruments.

What we built

A complete game, from the music to the engine, built and scored in-house.

  • Tap-on-the-beat stacking: every block lands on the rhythm or it doesn't.
  • Millisecond timing feedback on every tap.
  • 60+ songs played on real instruments.
  • One codebase that runs as an installable web app and works offline.

How was it built?

One team at Nabee owned the whole arc, from idea and strategy through brand, design, build, and ship, with no account managers or middle layers.

Idea & strategy

One mechanic, tap and stack, that anyone understands in seconds and takes rhythm to master.

Brand & design

Designed around instant feedback: every tap shows how close you were to the beat.

Build

Audio and input timing tuned to the millisecond, with music recorded on real instruments.

Ship & maintain

Shipped at ttak.co as an installable web app and maintained in-house.

Where it stands

TTAK is live at ttak.co as an installable web app that works offline, with 60+ songs on real instruments.

The same audio and timing skills power Metro X, our metronome app with patent-pending SYNC.
