Upstring One is a partner system for music shops: register, rentals, repairs, website, and customers, with one login on desktop, phone, and a tablet kiosk. Nabee Studio built it with a shop owner, starting from their daily problems, and still runs and grows it together with them.

The problem

A music shop juggles far more than a register: instrument rentals, repair tickets, a website, and long-term customers, often spread across tools that don't talk to each other.

Instead of selling software into that, we started with one owner's day: what went wrong at the counter, what took too long, and what customers kept asking.

What we built

One system for the whole shop, designed for the counter, the workbench, and the customer.

Register: sales at the counter.
Rentals: instrument rentals managed in the same place as sales.
Repairs: repair jobs tracked in one place.
Website: the shop's public site, connected to the same system.
Customers: the shop's customer list, in the same system.
One login on desktop, phone, and a tablet kiosk.

How was it built?

One team at Nabee owned the whole arc, from idea and strategy through brand, design, build, and ship, with no account managers or middle layers.
