Nabee Studio vs local marketing bundles: what to check before you sign

Updated October 2026 · Nabee Studio

Many local businesses are offered a package: a website built from a template, ad management, and sometimes listings, all for one monthly price on a long contract. Some of these are fair deals. The details in the contract decide that.

In short

  • What they are: a template website plus ad management for one monthly price, often on a 12-month or longer contract.
  • They can work if you want something simple and fast, and the terms are clear.
  • Check four things: who owns the domain, site, and ad accounts; whether ad spend is bundled into the fee; how long the contract runs; and what happens when you leave.
  • Nabee: a custom site, no cut of ad spend, a 6-month minimum then month to month, your accounts from day one, and the code yours after 24 months.

Where a bundle can make sense

  • Speed and simplicity: a template site can go up quickly with little input from you.
  • One bill: site, ads, and listings in one monthly number is easier to budget.
  • Clear terms: if ownership, spend, and exit are spelled out in writing, a bundle can be a reasonable start.

What to check before you sign

  • Ownership: is the domain registered in your name? Who owns the website, and can you take it with you?
  • Ad accounts: are the Google and Meta accounts yours, with full access, or held by the provider?
  • Ad spend: is spend included in the monthly fee? If so, how much of your payment actually reaches Google and Meta?
  • Contract length: how long is the term, does it renew automatically, and what does early exit cost?
  • Leaving: does the site go offline when you cancel? Do you keep the ad history, call tracking numbers, and reviews?
  • Reporting: can you log into the real ad accounts, or only see a summary report?

Common questions

Are website and ads bundles a bad deal?
Not always. A bundle with clear ownership, transparent ad spend, and a fair exit can be a reasonable start. Problems usually come from long contracts, spend you can't see, or a site you can't take with you.
How can I tell how much of my bundle goes to actual ads?
Ask for read access to the Google and Meta ad accounts and compare what they show as spend with what you pay. If ads are billed straight to your own card by Google and Meta, as with Nabee, there's nothing to reconcile.
What happens to my website if I cancel a bundle?
It depends on the contract. Many template sites stay with the provider. With Nabee, the code and design are yours free after 24 months, or earlier by buyout, and your domain is yours from day one.
How long is Nabee's contract?
A 6-month minimum, then month to month.
